• Press adjacent Fire buttons to shoot diagonally

I had experimented with twin-stick style controls in GB Studio in previous projects (specifically an NSFW shooter and a 3-in-1 compilation), with some success, although the results were lacking in two key areas:

• The player could only shoot in the four cardinal directions
• In order to change firing direction, the player would need to release the currently held button before pressing the new one

I had a few theories about how to fix these, so one morning I threw this project together.

And absolutely nailed it! 👍

There's very little to do in this demo besides move and shoot - there are no enemies or level progression of any sort - but the project folder is available to download for the perusal of my fellow GB Studio devs out there 👍👍
