For the heck of it, 2.5 years on...
Having recently uploaded a successor to this project for 7dfps 2023, I figured I should add some closure to this version.
Notice the extra download: at one point I was absolutely going to build on the original Terminus - Prologue in the same engine (RayCasting Game Maker).
The so-called Terminus - Prologue: Post-Jam Edition is as far as I got; it's the same game, but with a much cooler HUD and actual custom menus, plus an addendum to the title screen:
I put this on the back-burner for about a year, then Easy FPS Editor showed up on my radar. Being essentially a spiritual successor to RGM, I figured it would be a much better fit for a title update.
I spent a fair bit of time with EFPSE, working on a fair few non-Terminus-related projects, before getting waylaid by countless game jams plus the awesome version 3 builds of GB Studio, ultimately even dispensing with EFPSE as well.
As you will have gathered from Terminus - Prologue: REDUX, future iterations are going to be made in Godot, although dipping back into this Post-Jam build after so long, I'm feeling I ought to keep some of the visual iconography in mind moving forward (that's an overly fancy way of saying I like where I was going with that new HUD...!).
