The GRC GBS Chiptune Archive Β» Devlog
The ninth iteration of The GRC GBS Chiptune Archive is now available, and I've decided to stop just numbering each update - instead, they're getting a reference to the year of release, plus a letter designating the version (I very much doubt I'll ever be releasing more than 26 updates in a single year...!)
So what's new this time?
- Retooled menus fitting fifteen tracks onto each page instead of the previous fourteen
- Altered track order (there's been a sort of soft grouping going on in which I try to keep as many related tracks per page as possible. Adding space for that extra one slightly threw things out of "sync", hence the adjustments)
- Six additional tracks, bringing the total up to 66
- Slight alteration to the design of the ampersand (i.e. the "&") on the menu screens (it's only used once so far, but still...)*
* and in the next build I'll be sure to have the text box font reflect this change, as that one's still using the old design...! π€¦ββοΈ

Another thing that'll have changed by the next build is the title screen's Copyright pop-up; taking a second look at the 25A version, I realised I didn't like the placement of the dash, hence:
